Mania for swords of Kings cause of Kotte gruesome murders of the Buddhist Prelates

(Lanka-e-News-22.March.2012,11.55PM) It is an individual who has been bestowed with State titles and honors of ‘Deshabandu’ and ‘Deshamanya’and enjoying political patronage in this Buddhist country, arriving at the Kotte Rajamaha Vihara temple , Kotte with the aim of robbing the ancient sword embedded with gems associated with the wedding of Sapumal Kumaraya, who has committed the atrocious crime of double murder at the sacred Temple where two Buddhist priests were cruelly murdered in cold blood, according to revelations in the reports so far.
The murderer in this ghastly crime who is now in police custody is no less a person than the Chairman of the Maharagama civil security Committee of the State . As usual in the current political climate where crimes are committed with Govt. political patronage , in this instance too , this ruthless murderer , it is learnt has been closely associated with high ranking police officers and the regime’s powerful politicos. Moreover , this suspect is a Basnayake Nilame of a Vihara in Galigomuwa and a projects Manager of a private Bank.

He had killed the two priests because he could not find the much sought after swords . The other suspect with him had fled the scene and escaped.
In truth the Sapumal Kumaraya’s ancient gem studded sword is in the security Safe of the Kotte temple. That safe is protected by electrical shock device .
The Priests who were stabbed with a knife on 20th at about 10.00 p.m. are Ven. Panditha Pitigala Seetharatne (80 ) and Ven. Boralesgamuwa Gunaratne (60) . One of the victims had died immediately at the Temple premises itself while the other had passed away at the Kalubowila Hospital on admission.
The police said , the ‘Baas’ and group (workers) who were arrested as suspects following the trail of the police dogs were found innocent and had been released. Even though the police claim one of these individuals had made a confession , the sources within the police itself say , this police story cannot be given credence.

Based on our inquiries , it is revealed that this individual is being forced to act that way by a group , and devious attempts are being made to suppress the true criminals. The main reason for this dastardly attempt is the involvement of the notoriously infamous Western range DIG Anura Senanayake better known as the DOG of the regime , and after his arrival to take over the investigations. According to inside police sources , in investigations of this nature , it is not the practice for an officer next in rank to the IGP appearing to conduct investigations.
The same sources say , this same shameless DIG or Rajapakse DOG who is supposed to enforce the laws , on the contrary acting brazenly in violation of the very laws, in the recent white Van abduction case got the criminals released even after the culprits were caught red handed and entrusted to the police by the public . Hence his quashing this investigation also unlawfully is no big deal for him, and certainly those political and police higher ups who are putting him on the scene of these crime investigations have an ulterior motive to do so.

The robbery at the museum which we revealed in an earlier article captioned ‘ MR (Museum robbers) and MR (MaRa) are in league in this robbery’, and the temple robbery are the obverse and reverse of the same coin , police inside sources allege.
The regime chief’s planetary stars are most unpropitious for him these days and his illnesses are taking a turn for the worse , it is disclosed. His ‘astrologicruel’ and astrological advisors have therefore told the equally superstitiously blind and cruel Idi Mahin that this Dutugemunu sword is important for him at any cost to rescue himself. During the recent past every nook and corner of the country had been dug and searched to retrieve this sword . There is evidence that there is a close connection between the museum robbery and the temple robbery in order to secure this sword even at the expense of precious lives of Buddhist prelates, following instructions from those at the top most positions of the hierarchy . It is therefore no wonder attempts are made to suppress these crimes committed in the process and save the criminals , using all the powers and resources .

In the temple crime scene , it was possible to arrest the suspect because a registration number of a suspicious vehicle was noted in the reports . The search for this vehicle had become inevitable, and following that lead , it had been discovered , it is a SL’s most honored and dignified State title holder , ‘Deshabandu’ and ‘Deshamanya’ , who additionally has close connections with those in the highest echelons of the police and political arena is the criminal behind these gruesome murders and crimes.

Please await more information on this crime and criminal supremos .

Full evidence testifying that MaRa is the ace culprit behind country’s treasure digging and thieving Five innocent police men are in jail

(Lanka-e-News-16.April.2012, 4.30PM) What we see in the photograph herein is Sri Lanka's regime chief MaRa making a grand ostentatious display that he is a ‘great Sinhalese’ when his head was being anointed with oil by Galwatte Mahanayake , the southern Lanka’s Ruhunu University Chancellor Ven. Royal Panditha Pallanthara Sumanajothy Thero. While the Ven. Thero is anointing his head with such pomp and fuss we are reluctantly compelled to reveal hereunder details received by us of yet another horrendous action of the regime chief which goes to clearly and cogently prove how he is destroying and devouring the country ruthlessly while beguiling even the anointing Ven. Panditha Thero . It is none other than Mahinda Rajapakse , the regime chief who is representing (misrepresents ) himself as a ‘great Sinhala Buddhist ‘of the SL nation who is also indulging in these most treacherous and worst unlawful operations of digging in search of treasure believed to be buried at the ancient Viharas and sites.

Full details are as follows :

Date - 28th March 2012
Time - during night
Venue- Rangala police station

Five night patrol police officers under the instructions of the Rangala police station Inspector Kapila Bandarage were detailed for night patrol on that day with a police jeep. The officers are :

Police security personnel Gemunu Kumara (No. 47131)
Police constable Ajith Kumara Thilakaratne (No. 86789)
Police constable Ariyawansa (No. 37259)
Police constable Pushpakumara (No. 37274)
Police constable Rohan Munasinghe (No. 65268)

The duty assigned to them was to carry out night patrolling until the following dawn. When this group was engaged in night patrol, information was received at about 11.30 p.m. from a resident that a suspicious looking black jeep without number plate and a red jeep with number plate were seen travelling about in the district. While the patrolling team became alert , at about 11.55 p.m. two vehicles were noticed. One was a land rover with totally tinted glasses , and its registration No. was PC K I 3516. The other was a land Rover vehicle with a garage No. which was not clearly visible. The night patrol security team had examined these two vehicles.

During the inquiries , the head of the land rover team had confessed that they are a group of officers of the President’s security division (PSD) . He had in his possession two identity cards , one in the name of Captain Leslie Abeyratne , chief of security of the PSD , and another which identified him as an all Island coordinating officer of the President.

After the inquiries , the land rover was freed and left.

Later , at about 3.35 early morning , a resident of the area had notified that a group which came in two vehicles is digging for treasure on the hillside on Karangala rock of Nidhangala , Tea estate known as Barpawy .The aforementioned night security patrol officers of the district had seen the same two jeep vehicles parked on the hill and a group standing near it. The district police patrolling officers and the residents had made arrangements at the bottom of the hill and had been prepared to ambush those at the top when they come down. Those at the top had got wind of the arrangements at the bottom , and had hence secretly taken the two vehicles and followed the other route through the Rangala estate and gone to the Rangala town.

The security police patrolling team which had recorded this duly had returned to the police station when their duty had ended at 6.00 a.m.

The police station was abuzz with the Kandy SSP Kithsiri Ganegama , Theldeniya ASP , S .M .R .Tennekoon and Teldeniya station OIC Dharmaratne having arrived at the station. SSP Ganegama had at once screamed at the security patrol team ‘why did you all follow after this jeep?’

‘We were told by a villager that they are digging for treasure illicitly. When we were heading for that venue we saw these two jeeps’, the team had replied. The SSP Ganegama had then asked ‘ these jeeps are of the PSD . Why did you all stop them?.

When the security team said ‘Sir , we were only enforcing the law’, the police higher ups have treated them most disdainfully.
At that moment , the Captain of the PSD ,Leslie and his treasure digging rogues had also arrived at the station. With him were also, a exorcist (Kapuwa) from Thihagoda district, Matara ,Chandrapala of Beliatta and Mangala , a tavern owner from Theldeniya.

Thereafter , the five security police officers were made to stand in a line and videotaped as though they were the treasure thieves using the video camera in the custody of Leslie. It was Dharmaratne , the Thaldeniya OIC who videoed them.

The villagers who heard about this had arrived at the police station along with a Vihara incumbent to make a complaint against the illicit digging for treasure . But the SSP and the ASP who were there had not allowed them to lodge the complaint.
Later ,the shameless and unscrupulous SSP Ganegama had got down five jeeps from five police stations , and put in each jeep a security police officer of the team of five along with the PSD treasure robbers and dispatched them to show the places where the treasure is supposedly hidden. The PSD robbers of MaRa have inquired from the five police security officers who are from the districts where the treasure lay

Meanwhile , the DIG of the central province S R M Peramuna and senior DIG Ambanwela have arrived at the Rangala police station range . DIG Peramuna had then without any sense of shame disgraced the entire police force by standing abjectly before the PSD treasure robber chief , Captain Leslie and saluting him when he swathe Captain.. In other words the DIG who should be arresting the treasure rogue chief had degraded himself to the level of ‘worshipping’ him instead openly . The police officers who were rudely shocked at the contempt poured on the police force by this conduct of the DIG say , this is the first time a DIG had been seen cringing and crawling before a Captain and saluting him , not to mention who is a criminal robber of national wealth.

This same DIG who saluted lawlessness had also ordered villainously that the five police officers who acted lawfully be remanded. When the law abiding officers have inquired from this DIG ,’ Sir , what is the wrong we committed ?’ , he had replied ‘ what is the right you have to capture a President’s vehicle?’

Namal Rajapakse sun of the president, who holds the ignominious distinction as the first SL synthetic lawyer had also spoken twice on the phone with DIG Peramuna and given instructions.

Subsequently , the five police officers who were performing their duties lawfully on patrol duty were produced before the Magistrate on 29th March 2012 indicted on charges of obstructing the President’s vehicles and attempting to assault the President’s security personnel filed under a B report No. B /241/ 2012.

These two police officers , the DIG Peramuna and SSP Ganegama in a fierce dog eating dog competition to bootlick MaRa had allowed the laws of the country to go to the dogs , and personally gone before the Magistrate even uncaring for the respect they must show to their top brass police uniforms only to get these law abiding five police officers remanded. In other words they clearly bore personal testimony to the prevailing lawlessness in the country where brutality and anarchy reign supreme.

Moreover these two police villains, Peramuna and Ganegama have also conducted an identification parade to identify the ‘law breakers’.

Peramuna and Gengoda have told the Magistrate that there is a potential threat to peace owing to this group and therefore to remand them. The Magistrate had inquired from Peramuna and Ganegama , ‘ how can you then call them as custodians of the peace ?’ . But , as there was strong opposition to granting bail to them , the Magistrate had remanded them until the 2nd of April.

After the advent of Senior DIG Ambanwela to the district, 67 police officers who were providing security abiding by the law had been interdicted. His specific instruction to the low ranking police officers is : do not take into custody any vehicle of a politico or those of their henchmen.

Following this episode , searching and digging for treasure troves have been lawfully permitted in the Central province.

It is high time the prelates who anoint his head with oil and the people of the country by now understand, to President Mahinda Rajapakse (Idi Mahin the replica of Idi Amin) who is so openly engaged in robbing the treasure troves in the country with absolute impunity , committing robbery on the museum artifacts is no big deal. Leader of violence in the south of Rajapakses caught red handed when searching for swords –Namal rescues them

(Lanka-e-News-31.March.2012, 11.55PM) Captain Bharatha Kodituwakku , the leader of the murder squad of the south of the youngest member Namal Rajapakse, of the MaRa regime notorious for sending its criminal white Van to kill its own Mayor; and to abduct its own local body members, had himself disclosed full details in regard to the digging for treasure which is being carried out on behalf of Namal the synthetic Lawyer.

Captain Bharatha Kodituwakku is the chief of the Matara Army camp is the brother of Captain Moorthy Kodituwakku the head of Namal’s Nil Balakaya and his coordinating officer . Their father was for some time an artist of Mahinda Rajapakse drawing his pictures.

Captain Bharatha was the one who led the army group which attacked the Matara judge’s car sometime ago.

It was Namal the lawyer ( spurious) who acted unlawfully allowing the legal processes to go to the dogs in that incident to save Koddituwakku from being prosecuted . It is the latter who is stoking lawlessness and violence on behalf of Rajapakses openly in Matara.

This Captain Bharatha had got trapped well and truly as the culprit when he and another Captain Saman Balasooriya of the same camp , the chief of the Matara district disaster management unit were engaged in digging for treasure . Now it has become well known that they are digging in search of the most sought after ancient swords for the Rajapakses.

Upul who is a resident in the nearby land Asapuwa Vihara , Aparekka , Matara had announced that he had been shown in a dream the place where there is a treasure trove of Royal swords. That is there is a treasure trove in the land where he is residing.

The two abovementioned Captains who became aware of this had gone in search of Upul. They have given the mobile phone No. of Captain Saman Balasooriya to Upul , and have claimed that they are from the archaeological Dept. and told Upul to desist from digging for this treasure , and in order to get instructions in this regard , to phone on the mobile No. given to him.

Upul was got down and taken to the beach in the vicinity at Matara. Balasooriya had been in civil attire and wearing a tie at the meeting and had on him an archaeological Dept. Identity card (spurious).

Saman who had taken a call to someone ,had said ,he took instructions from Minister Dallas Alahaperuma . Saman had then warned Upul that he should obey his instructions then onwards, and this should not be revealed to anyone in which case he might even have to lose his life.

About two days earlier , these officers had gone to Upul’s house in a disaster management unit cab and an army jeep. After asking Upul ,his wife and children to stay out of the house had begun searching the house and the land with some device (as though searching for bombs) .

Thereafter they have given instructions to dig at two places , and left the venue. In the night the forces began coming into Upul’s house which had frightened Upul. Meanwhile the village residents who saw the army vehicles had said , it is these same army vehicles which came about a month ago to destroy a Dagoba at the Yaboda Viharaya and search for treasure .

Poor Upul who had been gripped with fear had gone to the Nihaboda police yesterday (30) to make a complaint. The police after delaying taking down his complaint had finally stated that they cannot record his complaint because of Namal’s orders. But since Upul stayed back at the station for a long time , his complaint was finally recorded. Later the police had made several amendments to his complaint including expunging the name of Kodituwakku.
Though Upul had told that he can identify these individuals with certainty, no one has still been taken into custody. One of the two pits dug across the house had been closed . Upul is now under threats forcing him to return the notepaper given to Upul on which Balasooriya wrote his phone number , and also to withdraw the complaint made to the police.

Sadly , because lawlessness , anarchy ,murder and mayhem are presently reigning supreme in this country , only exposures can be made on these criminalities . Since the Rajapakses are now possessed with a mania searching for Royal swords , even the museums are being subjected to robberies of valuable ancient swords and exhibits . Again dictated by this same eccentricity , the attempted robbery of swords at the Raja Maha vihara claimed the valuable lives of two Prelates both over 70 years old.

Authorities doubtful if the sword stolen from the National Museum is for a pooja
Sunday, 18 March 2012 20:40 NewsEditor Hits: 46

Colombo_museum_LNW_18.03.2012

There is a reasonable doubt whether the burglary at the National Museum and the stealing of a sword was carried out for the human sacrifice that is to be carried out for the President, a senior government minister said.
The President’s House in Fort has now been converted into a place where various rituals are being carried out for the President. Several Indian priests are engaged in carrying out various poojas continuously for the past few days.

One of the Indian priests had visited the National Museum last Thursday with officers from the President’s Media Unit (PSD). It is learnt that the CCTV cameras have not been operational since that afternoon. The Museum is usually closed on Fridays since it is kept open during Saturday and Sunday. The burglary had taken place when the museum was closed.

Casino King and Transport Ministry Secretary Dhammika Perera is currently building a mansion opposite the National Museum and a large number of security personnel are always in the premises and even PSD officials frequent the site.

A special security system is in place in the area around the museum. A senior police officer told us that it was surprising that the museum was broken into on the 16th night in such a backdrop. He said it was important to note that all CCTV cameras at the museum had been disconnected at the time of the burglary.

Among the artifacts that have been stolen are eight swords from the Kandyan period, four knives, several gold coins and a ring with a seal.

Cultural Affairs Minister Jagath Balasuriya’s wife, the Southern Province Governor Kumari Balasuriya is a close relative of the President.

We earlier reported that there was a plan to make a human sacrifice to invoke blessings on the President. Several opposition politicians told us that when considering all aspects there were doubts whether the robbery was carried out with state patronage.

Museum robbed – ancient swords taken away – Is it the work of MaRa's sword searchers ?

(Lanka-e-News-17.Marh.2012, 11.30PM) A group of thieves who had broken into the Colombo National museum yesterday night (16) had taken away a number of valuable ancient exhibits , according to the police. These rogues had stolen most valuable articles which were there on the second floor of the Museum including ancient swords and currencies.

Owing to the on going investigations , the Museum is being kept closed for two days for visitors.

This is the first time the museum which is the center preserving the SL heritage and culture exhibits had been burgled. Staff of the Museum say , since the Museum is located in a high security zone this burglary could not have been committed by ordinary thieves. The staff are suspicious over the theft of swords while there are more valuable articles like ancient pearls and gems which have not been touched by the thieves.

Gotabaya who is suffering from ‘wall phobia’ among other manias earlier tried to eliminate the museum parapet wall , but withdrew the idea later.

It is well to recall in the past , based on a blind belief that if the sword of Dutugemunu King can be retrieved , the regime chief can prolong his reign , the regime searched every nook and corner digging everywhere in search of the sword. Lately , in another turn of events , these days , chanting is being conducted every night at Temple Trees because it is believed that regime chief is going through a most unpropitious period stemming from planetary changes.

Human sacrifice to be made to bless the President with long life
Saturday, 17 March 2012 09:15 Exclusive

Mahinda_exclusive_lnw_16.03.2012

Arrangements are being made to make a human sacrifice in the Kumbukkan Oya Forest Reserve to over come any bad periods faced by the President and to wish him good health, it is reliably learnt.
The human sacrifice is to be organized by Minister Mervyn Silva and the President has sent him to Myanmar to bring down a rare variety of oil required for the ritual.

The Indian priest who is to conduct the ritual has informed Mervyn that they needed a special child (thun kuludul) for the purpose.

However, it is learnt that the President has not yet agreed to the human sacrifice, but has asked that all the equipment required for the pooja be brought down from Myanmar.

Well known astrologer Chandrasiri Bandara was the first to inform the President of the need to carry out such a ritual.

It is Chandrasiri Bandara has managed to instill fear in the President’s mind about a bad period faced by him and has got the President to crawl in the Ruwanveli Seya premises.

Museum robbery -Are MR (museum robbers) and MR (MaRa) in league in this robbery?

(Lanka-e-News-19.March.2012,11.50PM) There had arisen a number of doubts and suspicions in regard to the recent robbery at the Colombo Museum where a number of valuable articles including those of great historic value were stolen. So far , it has been detected that 8 ancient swords of the Kandy kingdom era , 18 most valuable rings and currencies, 3 upper portions of walking sticks have been robbed. The police say they have initiated a scientific investigation. But , by now a great many doubts and suspicions surround this crime.

The first of these is : contradictory views are being expressed in regard to the security camera system. According to the Museum Directress , Prof. Ms.Nanda Wickremesinghe the camera system was functioning perfectly and the video tape was handed over to the police, adding that this camera which is sans alarm signal had a night vision system. Yet ,Minister Jagath Balasuriya of Hela Urumaya says, from two days prior to the robbery the camera system had not been functioning.

The second question is : this Museum is located in a high security zone. The Cinnamon Gardens police station is just a stone’s throw away. The main office of the national secret service of the High security zone is situated just a few buildings away . The new residence of Rajapakses that is being built on the former Australian High Commission premises is also almost in front of the Museum. In that premises too there are security personnel.

The third question is :in this vast land of 20 acres where this museum is situated there had been only three security personnel. This is impossible because , to protect an ordinary residence , there are generally two security officers.. Hence, in this huge land on which there is a National museum containing most valuable articles of historic value , why only three security personnel?
The fourth issue is : the highly suspicious statement made by JHU Balasuriya that these stolen articles will be retrieved within a few days , and therefore there is nothing to fear. Balasuriya’s statement is most intriguing and frightful because , how can he say this with such certainty ? While the CID is conducting investigations and is under its purview , how is it possible for this Minister make such an utterance unless his security camera had captured MR and MR in the act.?

In the circumstances , this robbery is most mysterious and suspicious . The general opinion among the people who know too well about this Idi Mahin regime, that M R (MaRa) is connected to this MR (Museum robbery) cannot be ignored.
In other words it is a teaming up of MR and MR , and not an instance of MR vs MR ( the regime against robbers –this should be the case if the country is governed by lawful rulers) , because on a previous occasion too , the museum was robbed during the period of Late President Premadasa . A large number of valuables in the Museum went missing. Some of those items even re appeared at the London auctions . Until today , nobody was apprehended in connection with that robbery. We shall provide details pertaining to that in a separate article.

In any event , let us amend our previous article where we mentioned that this robbery is the first in relation to the Colombo Museum. About 20 years ago , a Buddha statue had got lost, according to the Museum Directress.

Based on inquiries made by us , since the advent of the Rajapakse regime , the National Museums at Anuradhapura and Tissamaharama were burgled, yet , no one had still been apprehended. Besides since the Rajapakses came to power , there are reports that every day across the entire country digging in search of treasure is being carried out. It is an open secret that this regime had been in the past searching for King Dutugemunu ‘s ancient sword digging every nook and corner on the blind belief that the ruler who wields that will have a long reign. The country’s ruler is so stupid and blind owing to his inordinate lust for maniacal power that he was even seen squeezing a golden ball (fortunately it was not a leather ball, for he would have been charged for ball tampering going by the amount of pressure he put on that pleasurable squeezing) wherever he went supposedly chanted and given to him.

‘Sri Lanka killing fields – unpunished war crimes’ – new channel 4 video accuses both MaRa and Gota together

(Lanka-e-News-15.March.2012, 11.55PM) While there are just a few days more for the final sessions of International human rights commission , the third installment of the world’s most controversial British channel 4 video footage on the Sri Lanka war is to be telecast at 10.50 tonight UK time, on channel 4 in Britain.

This video footage installment is called ‘Sri Lanka killing fields- unpunished war crimes’. This full one hour
video report telecasts with evidence 4 instances of alleged war crimes committed during the final phase of the war.

It is the LTTE Organization which is primarily responsible for all these incidents . While that position is acknowledged , a responsible Democratic Govt. cannot point out the LTTE committed war crimes , and thereby seek to justify its own war crimes , the video report states.

Evidence had been adduced that even after the SL Govt. was notified of the no fire zone demarcated on account of the Hospital situated there by the UN and that should be protected , the Govt. on the contrary has exactly targeted that area for shelling. Later ,after Gotabaya Rajapakse and the Army Commander had been informed on this , shelling has been done on areas about 100 meters away. It is their contention that since the shelling was continued 100 meters away even after the second notification was given means , the first shelling was done deliberately and knowingly. Those actions are in the modern world , considered as war crimes and reckoned in the census and statistics as war crimes.

The second instance is , the Govt. had deliberately falsified the statistics regarding the civilians in the no fire zone.
With supporting evidence , it reports that while there were over lakhs of civilians , the Govt. counted that there were only 60,000 civilians , and provided food and medicine only for that number of persons. That is the Govt. supplied less than is necessary to meet the actual needs . This constitutes a war crime . They had evidence to substantiate this.

The third instance : The video showed how Balachandran, the 12 year old son of Prabhakaran was remaining fallen after he was killed. Five other bodies along with his were shown. The son was handed over to the Army along with security men . The other five bodies are presumed to be those of the security men. Going by the manner in which all the bodies are lying on the ground, it is presumable they had been blindfolded and shot from behind, report says. This video footage definitely had been obtained by channel 4 from the Army or the Govt. media sources.
The fourth instance :

Based on the picture of the dead Prabhakaran, their contention is he had not died in a struggle , and that he had been shot in the head from behind. As the photos of dead Prabhakaran show him in uniform , in loin cloth, in a muddy state and without mud, they allege that he had been killed after he had been captured or after his surrendering. In any case, no attention was paid to the shooting at Prabhakaran in the killing.

To discuss the opinions on this footage report, specialists and experts pertaining to the specific subjects were enlisted.

There was a marked difference between the previous video tapes and that made available now , this video footage directly pointed an accusing finger at President Rajapakse and Gotabaya Rajapakse . The others held responsible secondarily are two Army chiefs at that period , Shavendra Silva and Prassana Silva who are currently holding posts of Ambassadors abroad whereby they are enjoying diplomatic immunity, and are out from the indictments at the moment , the report charged.

They had not however forgotten to mount charges against the UN , and also give an answer to the video tape produced by the SL Govt.

Int. monitoring unit to visit SL after Geneva sessions: Regime’s defense stooges in mortal fear
(Lanka-e-News-15.March.2012,6.00PM) The defense chiefs are gripped by a grave apprehension that they will be in deep trouble personally if the US resolutions are passed at the Geneva conference.

The officers of the highest echelons of the State defense who have been acting under the MaRa regime’s lawless culture are harboring this fear because of the possibility of the appointment of a powerful international monitoring unit pertaining to SL after the Geneva sessions to evaluate the human rights violations.

The defense officers have discussed that there is every possibility of such a monitoring unit being appointed and their own defense members are likely to give evidence against them before the unit. These chiefs have had most secretive discussions over whether they are to save themselves by destroying the evidence against them or reveal the truth by exposing in their evidence those who gave orders .

A chief of the defense unit speaking to Lanka e news said, he is carefully preserving all copies of documents and details of what he truly said and did, and if the monitoring unit does arrive , he would provide every fact and detail to that Committee to save his skin.
This chief who spoke with Lanka e news is an officer who abstains from eating meat and fish . But submitting to orders of the Rajapakse regime he had rendered support to unlawful actions and murders. However he is of the opinion that since he does not eat meat and fish , he will not fall into trouble.

He stooped to all these activities for the sake of the children’s future , but in the face of the impending repercussions , he is in fear whether his children are going to confront a dark future, he added with concern.

MaRa loyalist UPFA member abducts and rapes a young girl collectively
